9/29 Waking up

Im trying my best to wake up this morning since I still haven't cought up on my sleep from the weekend. This weekend I had some friends come down and visit me and got no sleep. Then I followed them to there school and spent the day there. I got to see one of my friends who I am spending some time in Colorado with him over christmas break. I need to write my five paper rough draft for this class. I should write about " can America become energy independent?".

Im free writing today on September 24, 2009 about what and why Im writing about my topic. My topic is about energy more specifically how alternative fuels are building power in the market. alternative resources are becoming more and more popular and I want to write and more discover the ways how alternative fuels are becoming more everyday. Less fossil fuels are being used in sort of renewable sources. Why?
How are alternative fuels becoming more of an everyday source?
We are slowly but surley moving away from foreign oil and creating more cleaner energy here. We are discovering more abundant fuel sources than coal and oil.
Im doing this research to help people understand that we have other fuel sources other than forign oil and we are now greatly supporting it. There are many other fuel sources like Wind, Hydrogen, Water, and Solar. We dont need to import energy we have all we need and much more. We need to harness these resources and become less dependent on forigners. An energy independent U.S. is something most Americans want.

nine percent of Americansages 18 to 29 have tattoos" Tattoo Crazy, this is an astonish fact in America. I grew up not carrying much for tatto's. people who had them I believed were garbage as did the author of Tattoo Crazy thought as well. I grew just like the author did. Now I just like the author have a personal tattoo. I also belive that "for me, tatooing is an art form in which I can express myself along with a form of remembrance and strength". A tattoo is suppose to be meaningful to the person it is on, if not than it is not a true tat but just meaningless ink. I do belive that even though tattoos are personal such as religion it should not be on your face or some vulgar distranting place. Tattoos are personal so keep them personal is my phlisophy. I can relate to " remembering during my senior year of high school noticing that once someone turned 18 they would be showing everyone his or her new tattoo". This was a bit like my school. A tattoo once again is personal and society will always be judgmental on people with tattoos.

Now to Starbucks coffee. Yes I do love coffee, I did not care for this article in any fashion. I talk to my father anywhere, it doesn't matter on the coffee shop. Starbucks to me is just overpriced beans. Yet I do like Starbucks I could drink any coffee and be just as happy. Yes Starbucks is usually the most convient coffee shop where ever I might be, I do not hunt for them. I believe that this quote however true it might be is not the true intent, that " Another positive aspect of this global company is the coffee comes from third world countries that profit from business that Strarbucks gives them". I dont believe the author understands that 3rd world countries is the cheapest place to get raw resources and production like coffee beans. Yes Starbucks provides business to these countries, it is not for them but for themselves that they do this. Labor is cheapiest in these countries and regulations are easy to abide or even break.

In class free write

I just wok up about 15 minutes before class today. I ran out and barely made the bus which saved me a 20 minute walk from brackman. Im dead tired from staying out studying and I want to sleep right now but I have what feels like 50 thousand things to do today. I have to study for my macro economic Test which is tom. friday. I desperately need to finish my speech over the world cup which needs a powerpoint and has to be 5 min long for monday. I need to stop slacking and practice at least 4 times my entire speech with the slide show. Also I need to study for my upcoming math test which is on thursday the 24. Lastly I need to catch up on my reading and start preparing for my speech test on wednesday 30.

Thoughts and Questions on essay 1

A question I have with the essay is just exactly how is my wonderful teacher going to grade my writing. will she be harsh and difficult, hunting down every grammatical error and punctuation. can she be lenient and just help me and correct me without huge point loss. these are the questions running through my mind questions of how can i save every point that i can earn. I have had teachers so difficult that if it was correct they still took of because it was not there style of writing. The first essay is going to be the hardest because i have know idea of what exactly she is looking for.

Hey everyone I had the hardest time trying to get to yal since I completly forgot my password. This assignment was funny since I couldn't even get to it. I have only been to this class once because they thought I had the Swine but they are dumb because I was completly healthy.
